UC Berkeley demography has what I think is some of very best research on long term financial and economic issues that the military and geopolitical strategic sorts who inhabit this blog might find interesting. But in some ways this is old news. The poor (and usually implicitly assumed to be inferior) masses have been growing more rapidly the the delicate high quality rich SOB's for centuries. But we are still here and making every more rapid progress even though the master races and classes have been going extinct for centuries.
