Biden - Barack's best man. Which says volumes about the rest of the men in the Democratic party.
"“This is like the Hillary emails, ....” he said"
Or the Podesta emails, which he didn't mention lest people remember just what was written there.

Prior DNC investigation of Joe Biden:

1. Is he such a dufus that he will be a good insurance policy. so no one will try to take down Barry Soetoro as POTUS? Check.

2.Is he a comforting white male to check the systemic racism in America that may not fully accept Barry Soeoto as POTUS? Check.

3.Does he have a hot blonde wife who gives off reassuring All American Girl vibes? Check

4. Is he devoid of any independent thought or agenda, and will stay 100% in the background and do what is said? Check.

5. Do the big public sector deep state complex love him? Check.

What strikes me is the difference in how the MSM has treated
the different allegations against Biden.
For the accusations of sexual misconduct,
one sees a variety of opinions expressed in the MSM.

But for the allegations of impropriety with regard to Ukraine, both opinion columns and "straight reporting" were nearly unanimous: these charges were "debunked", "without proof".
Poor John Solomon and Rudy Giuliani were roundly attacked for daring to even bring up the issue.
How dare they question the integrity of Biden?
Obviously their motives were purely partisan, just out to hurt Trump's likely electoral rival.

OTOH, if a woman levels an accusation against a man, hey, it's "her voice must be heard". Proof? Who needs that? What a patriarchal, retrograde concept.
Obviously, I am not happy with this double standard.

On the issue of Viktor Shokin's assertions and accusations,
I highly recommend watching Shokin speak for himself (through a translator of course)
in this segment of Rudy Giuliani's third "Common Sense" podcast:

Given all the baggage associated with the Biden nomination, I have to conclude that the DNC is comfortable with a second term for Trump. If you overlook the divisive, but inconsequential peripheral issues (mostly social), both parties favor the same economic policies which have allowed income to be concentrated at the top of the financial food chain.

Elections can be tough on the body politic.
I expect Dem voters will find it in their hearts to accept a moral standard for their candidate just as those who voted for Trump.

Is OldJoe playing it safe just like Obama did when he picked Joe for VP. Rumor mill puts the thoroughly reprehensible Kamala Harris as the top VP pick. Makes one want to keep Old Joe alive and kicking, should he actually win. She is 100% vile.

Another rumour is that at or just before the Democratic convention, Joe will quietly be shunted aside and put out to political pasture behind "health issues." Seeing Biden's visibly increasing senility this won't raise too many questions.

Then the drama begins. None other than the Hildebeast, a horror straight out of the pages of H. P. Lovecraft, will purportedly be parachuted in to replace Biden.

The Spawn of Cthuhlu vs. Trump, Round 2.

We do indeed live in "interesting times."

A friend of mine (who may actually be known to Col. Lang from his business days) told me about a fundraiser for Dems he attended in Greenwich CT.

At one point, Mr Biden posed for a photo opp with the two hosts. He wrapped his right arm around the husband's shoulders andhis left around the lady of the house's waist. My friend was at an odd angle and noted (with no little admiration for Mr. Biden's skill and chutzpah) that Joe had managed to cop a feel of a breast while posing.

For what little such an anecdote is worth.
