Oddly I have not come across the role of Regent in the Constitution, but this will effectively be Biden's role, as placeholder. I expect he would be well compensated to take the 25th very soon after taking office. Perhaps the fix is already in. Otherwise yes, a food taster.

This would of course be a gift to Trump's campaign team, I am surprised votebidengethillary.com is still available. Nevertheless, if the current Deep State interregnum is resolved in this manner, Deplorables will need to beware, Hell hath no fury like the most qualified person ever scorned and she will want to get even.

turcopolier

All

Ah, the idea that the Dems might 25th him had not occurred to me.

BrotherJoe

I think she's waiting for a Tara Reade scenario to knock Biden out at the convention at which point she would humbly accept the presidential nomination from a grateful nation. Sort of a bloodless Manchurian Candidate moment.

walrus

I predicted this at least two years ago. Now watch the public discussion of HRC slowly and carefully increase.

It will be interesting to watch how Biden is maneuvered to the door.

If Trump is re elected, it is clear to me that his first action will be to eviscerate the Leadership of the IC, DOJ and FBI. It must also be clear to them. They will be active supporters of an HRC ascendency because for them, it is a career life or death matter.

Harlan Easley

I will be surprised if Hillary Clinton is not the Democratic Party nomination. Looks like a plan coming together.

Dementia Joe. Tara Reade's story gains "mainstream" press coverage. Probably other "news" stories to finally take him out near convention.

She accepts nomination as a savior and will chose Buckwheat of Georgia as her Vice President. Race-baiting house slave of the establishment.

And fulfill her lifelong ambition of ending all life on Planet Earth. Eve destroyed Eden, Hillary aims for the rest.

srw

No way would the Democratic organization replace Biden with HRC. They want to win and she had her chance and blew it in 2016. If Biden were to be replaced it would be by Gov. Cuomo.

walrus

SRW,

Cuomo has already said he won’t stand. No one smart will get in HRC’s way. It’s not good for your health.

Jack

Sir,

In your opinion where does Obama fit into this? It would appear that his apparat is different than the Clintons.

turcopolier

jack

More or less allied on most issues.

JerseyJeffersonian

Jack,

Here's another hypothesis. The investigation of the IC, FBI, & CIA is moving closer and closer to wrapping Obama into the inner circle of conspirators. To be more than fair, Obama may have had some scores to settle with Trump for his push to get Obama on the citizenship issue, surely; but don't forget that Hillary was thwarted in her pursuit of the Presidency not only by Trump in 2016, but also by Obama in 2008, so she in turn has scores to settle with both of them.

Would it be so far fetched to speculate that if Hillary has the goods on Obama for his role in subverting Trump's presidency, and that if Obama's apparat is looking to shut her out in favor of another choice for Biden's running mate (perhaps his lovely wife, Michelle...), that she might do Obama down for once again getting in the way?

How appealing that might be to her, getting another go at Trump, while at the same time sticking it to the prior usurper of her destiny, Obama? And if her hand holding the knife thrust into Obama's back became visible, she could always wrap herself in the flag, and claim that she, loyal American that she is and always has been, did the deed for the defense of the Republic, a higher loyalty than that to the Democrat party. (Gag me with a spoon.) While still maintaining that the Russians did her dirty in 2016, she could also claim that she just could not stand by while the dignity of the office of President, and the Majesty of the Constitution was subverted by that bounder, Obama, in his own bid to pervert the election.

Maybe overcomplicated, but it comports with her vengeful nature, and squares with her undoubted, uncontested title of World Champion Whited Sepulchre no?

Would you two give us a short introduction into how the 25th could catapult septuagenarian Clinton into the office. Aware it has been a longer speculation she is lingering in the background, but is the speculation based on the idea Biden will take her as vice?

Look guys, your king will survive this challenge.

You must be a Brit. The VP (Hillary) and a majority of the cabinet vote that he is incompetent.

Tyler

Trump has battered a hostile media every day for the past two weeks while Biden falls asleep on TV and Hillary has decayed rather quickly since the last election (which saw her getting hurled into the back of a van like a side of beef).

The Democrats eviscerated their backbench to the point where Cuomo speaking a lot makes him look like a choice while his state gets clobbered by the 'rona, and Gavin Newsome is currently continuing to bankrupt Cali.

Hello, hello. I've been missed, I heard.

Fred

Tyler,

"The Democrats eviscerated their backbench to the point where Cuomo speaking..."
The rest are self destructing, so are a lot of placeholders. Earlier today the state senator from Ann Arbor, Republic of, spoke in his best cat lady meltdown voice about the mean, nasty Republicans in the state not kneeling in submission to the Lord Governor Whitmer and her wise counsel. He even bemoaned Senator McConnell of Kentucky not coming up with millions to bail out the state government and that means "our state employees are facing a disaster"!. I think that means their pay might be affected. At least he has his re-election priorities in order. Some wag asked him why the Republicans didn't vote to impeach her, but then they strike me as a bunch of eunichs who don't want to actually do some heavy lifting and would rather watch the state burn than risk an easy reelection in November. Sad all the way around.

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the modern Democratic party's staggering ability to make colossally miscalculated blunders at nearly every turn. I could see this scheme being their crowning achievement in a certain sense, unless of course, independent voters don't matter anymore.

She may energize the party's big money machinery, the media, and the apparatchik ideologues, but I can't figure out how enough independents would be swayed by such a transparently devious machination on the part of the DNC and the Clintons, especially given that this would be the second such instance in as many electoral cycles that they pulled this kind of stunt, specifically for her. Furthermore, it would be obvious and very off-putting to anyone with any shred of ethical standards and at least one functioning eye and/or ear. Finally, it would be a few orders of magnitude more devious in principle than what they did to Chairman Bern in 2016. How can they believe that this would garner them any additional support from slices of the electorate that they might not or would not have otherwise had (i.e. fence-sitter independents). To successfully pull this off in the general election, it would require several scenarios to come together.

First, she would have to pull significant slices of the following types of independent voter:

a) those who did bank on her last time and were willing to bank on Trump over Biden this time, plus

b) those who banked on Trump last time and were planning on banking on him again over Biden;

while simultaneously sacrificing a group c) those who were willing to bank on Biden but will look at Kim Jong Hil and say "no thanks." How many in group c sit this one out or vote third party and how many vote for Trump out of spite and disgust?

Second, the Bernie Bros would have to show up for her in greater numbers than they did in 2016, and in greater numbers than they otherwise would have for Biden. This is a very uncertain proposition. Possible, yes. But likely? I have doubts.

Third, the black vote would have to show up for her in greater numbers than they would have for Biden, and in greater numbers than they did in 2016. Biden is a guy who even in a state of mental and physical senescence is still a relatively popular democrat among black Americans (see S. Carolina primary). There's no way she outperforms Biden in terms of a traditional black vote turnout. But this year there is a strong probability that Trump will pull a greater share of the black vote than perhaps any Republican in history (even a few percentage points more than 2016 is significant), and this segment of the electorate becomes a wash at best for her. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Dems actually shed a number of black votes this year compared to 2016.

The bottom line is I don't see how a sudden switcheroo in favor HRC garners them anywhere near enough additional votes to offset the number of people who will be disgusted and/or terrified at the thought of her coming back into their lives.

Then there are the swing states. While Democrat governors in swing states are busy jackbooting their citizens, it seems Republican-governed swing states have largely managed the 'rona without simultaneously and thoroughly trampling their citizens' Constitutional rights, denigrating their religious practices, and completely decimating their economies. What that woman in Michigan has done can very reasonably be described as outwardly spiteful toward her citizens. Wisconsonites ain't too happy either. Meanwhile, Ron Desantis and Greg Abbott seem to have pulled off some semblance of a measured approach in Florida and Texas. This is a narrative that the Republicans can and should seize upon in the general: "Want a tyrant and a self-inflicted Depression in a crisis? Vote for Dems." If current trends hold and red states start opening up and getting back to a reasonably sensible way of life, while blue states hang in lock-down limbo for who knows how long and who knows why still, this picture will become that much clearer to many independent voters. You can also be sure that the image of a power-mad Hildabeast would fit very neatly into that narrative, and would scare a large number of moderate yet freedom-loving Americans fairly shitless.

Obviously a long way till November, but when I consider all of the above, Trump could even pull out the popular vote this time if the Dems go through with this scheme. The apoplexy on the left would be biblical in proportion. Anchors on CNN and MSNBC may start wailing in tongues and bleeding from their eye sockets.

FWIW, my wife finds Trump's personality tedious at best and loathsome at worst, but she's still gonna vote for him, because in her words, "by giving me nothing but the worst options, they've given me no choice." She also loves her country and wants it to be governed by people who love it too, or who at very least don't profess out and out disdain for it. I doubt she's an anomaly.

Anon

she got one more bullet in her gun.biden will slide out and she will glide in.
But first she has to kiss the ring.

Welcome back, you were definitely missed!

Will Israel help her though?
See what happened in 2016:
https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.dcd.204569/gov.uscourts.dcd.204569.29.7.pdf

The footnote says a prime minister of a redacted country. There are unredacted references to Jerusalem and Israel in the document, but the country of the prime minister is an inference from that context.

Affidavit quotes Trump confidant Roger Stone being told by a Jerusalem contact: ‘He is going to be defeated unless we intervene. We have critical intell. The key is in your hands!’

If HRC does run, she'd better listen to her husband this time around- he knows a thing or two about winning elections.

BillWade

I'll go with my long shot picks, Michelle Obama for Biden's VP. That will ease the minds of the Bernie Bro's and bring back at least some of the African American vote that Trump has gained.

Then, General Flynn for President Trump's VP. We'll need a General in charge for the coming China war. We'll also need Thailand and Vietnam on our side, time to firm that up is now.

Good to see ya back Tyler!

Tyler

Bill, Joe,

Thank you, thank you. Been busy with things for a while now. Life happens, but I should be able to hang out before putting my face towards the buzzsaw again.

Michelle Obama would be a bigger empty suit than Bloomberg, and not only because he's 5'4 and she's 6'8. The woman's thesis reads like what you'd expect from a Daddy's Money Lesbian graduating from Brown with her Master's in Muslim Transgender Skateboarding. She hasn't held a job since graduating. Her one job of note, Diversity Coordinator for the U of Chicago's health system, was a six figure sinecure that was never filled after she left.

Basically, what I'm telling you is that I can totally see the Democrats electing a geriatric suffering from adenochrome withdrawal and a gigantic diversity hire.

walrus

.........Aaaaaand right on cue, the media are saying “Could Joe be replaced even if he had the nomination in the Democratic convention?”. Unsurprisingly the answer is yes. Expect this type of talk to build.

The next stage is: “Might there be a better candidate than Joe?”.

The beaver,
The Jerusalem contact's name starts with an A. They didn't black out the initial too well. Any guesses?

Well all this should make Trump supporters very happy - running against Dementia Joe and Hated Hillary has to be Trump's wet dream. As for independents, of which I count myself, what a depressing spectacle. I mean spectacle in the French sense - a flipping show, all shiny and fake, designed to mislead and gull the masses.

USA well on its way to its own "fall of the berlin wall" moment and while necessary, the chaos and suffering that will result from the institutional crash will be similar to what happened in the USSR when it crashed. I mean, it's already started with the excess deaths among the middle-aged ex-working class (i.e. no longer working because the traitors sold them out to China for a nickel) male cohort.

agreed, although on my side it might have been more the fascination of the cold-hearted empath.
