Sir;
Gabbard is ahead of the curve on more fronts than one it seems.
This is not simply a "liberal" issue. The "War on Drugs" is a cancer on the body politic.
As far back as 1996, as conservative a publication as the 'National Review" opined that the War on Drugs was lost.
Split off cannabis from the "hard" drugs. Even leftys will agree to continue the fight against the "hard" drugs.
This stance will improve Gabbard's standing with the center and left. Any national politician needs alliances to succeed. She has a bright future in American politics.

Sir,

While I’m registered as a nonpartisan voter, I intend to request a Democratic Party ballot for the primary in a few weeks to vote for Tulsi.

Diana Croissant

I agree that Tulsi is the most intelligent of the clown car of other Democratic contenders. Since Hilary seems to have taken a jealous dislike of her, I wonder if Tulsi has a chance for the nomination. Maybe the Democratic Party will wake up and realize that Hillary is like a "pox" on the Democratic party and won't listen to her.

The war on drugs will never be won unless somehow we can develop a society in which we raise up people without physical or emotional problems that cause them to turn to drugs to solve their problems.

I do know that is totally unlikely. I know from Sunday School that this is a fallen world.

So the other solution might simply be to fund more treatment centers instead and require mandatory stays in those facilities.

But, that would require an enormous expense for the rest of us and still cause trouble for law enforcement.

In other words, I don't think there is an answer to this problem...at least until humans evolve and gain more Vulcan like qualities.

Oh, Well! This will go on until the Second Coming. I give up!!!
