Let us remember that the Syrian Arab Republic's recovery of Aleppo City after ferocious and prolonged combat made possible the re-construction of this ancient Armenian cathedral.
The Syrian Arab Army's front against al-Nusra just west of Aleppo City protects this cathedral and all the good people of Aleppo while re-construction continues.
Let us remember that al-Nusra is the Syrian branch of al-Qaida. They destroyed as much of this cathedral as they could manage while they held that part of the city. The al-Nusra were John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Joe Lieberman's good friends. The three senators often visited them as well as the other FSA unicorns who were under al-Nusra's control. According to these three fools anything was better than the Syrian government. Now, who would have given then that idea?
