Joe Scarborough. I wouldn't cry if he lost his big media megaphone.

First they lose a Baldwin and then a Bashir, wherever will MSNBC find replacement journalists of their caliber?
But wait --- didn't they also lose a Buchanan just recently?
MSNBC is, apparently, doing to its stellar journos what the President is doing to his Generals and Admirals.
Luckily for them, they have merely been cut loose from one of multiple income stream, it's not like they were murdered in their hacked Mercedes.

Mathews always starts salivating when he saddles up to power. Hopefully, Obama will have a towel to wipe the spittle off his face.

Optimax,

I wouldn't be too sure it's spittle.

Optimax: Our media is the most discplined "free" media in the world. He who controls the dinner party invitations controls the message!

Extract from Wiki:

Martin Bashir (born 19 January 1963) is a British journalist, who was a political commentator for MSNBC, hosting Martin Bashir, and a correspondent for NBC's Dateline NBC. He was previously an anchor for ABC's Nightline after initially gaining prominence on British television with his BBC interview with Diana, Princess of Wales, and then his series of interviews with pop musician Michael Jackson on ITV. On December 4, 2013, Bashir resigned from his position at MSNBC after he made "ill-judged comments" about the former Governor of Alaska and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

By the way am I the only one who thinks John McCain would have won the Presidency if he had picked almost anyone but
Sarah?

Babak Makkinejad

I think if Al Gore had picked McCain as his VP he would have won by a wide margin.
