Our friend and fellow committeeman, Basilisk suffered a heart attack Christmas night and is in hospital. He was catheterized and received a stent in a cardiac artery. He is feeling much better and might go home this afternoon. We all wish him a quick recovery. pl

Here's hope for a speedy and full recovery.
I suffered a stroke not too long ago I'm trying to recover from.
Many of us here are now at a point in our lives where the inevitable is catching up with us.
Pat's description of your progress is a positive one, certainly points toward a good recovery- hoping to see your posts/comments back on SST & TA very soon.
John Minnerath,
You are in my thoughts too, John- wishing you a good, steady recovery. TA could surely use more of your wonderful astrophotographs. In the meanwhile, may I have your permission to re-post some of the past ones in 2013 (you can email me)? Hope to see you soon on http://ukastroimaging.co.uk/forums/index.php
Best wishes, Basilisk. My young son, curious about my references to this blog (and you and Pat and TTG and...), is going to start following it. Get better soon! You have a new generation of readers to inspire. I hope you are comfortable and that you have a smooth recovery.
Best wishes for a quick recovery Basilisk. My 78 yo father is set for a pacemaker/defibrillator early next year. It's amazing some of the things they can do now. Again, all the best to you and yours.
Glad to hear you Survived...and are making Good Recovery..Take Care of Yourself and have a Good New Year..Enjoy all your writing here...Very good Reading..Cheers...Jim
