I am too ignornant of the peoples and cultures in this part of Africa to understand all that may transpire.Yet hoping for the best, not knowing exactly what that would be!
I'd be very interested to hear what the other readers of the site have to say about Gwynne Dyer's recent column. He's arguing that Egypt has the capability to intervene militarily on the ground against Qaddafi and that Egypt's intervention would be decisive where none of the other measures would work.
Reading your comment reminded me of Reinhold Niebuhr's words:
God grant me the courage to change those things that I can change, the serenity to accept those things I cannot change and the wisdom to know the difference.
