Is not the ARAB lobby the OIL LOBBY?

Theodore Lewis, who runs the Human Resources department? How many people from the hypothetical elsewhere are on the HR staff? Also, are they by any chance, evangelicals? Have seen several organizations become virtual ethnic concessions, another become an evangelical one. Two of the ethnic cases happened also to be evangelicals. Wondering how that happened - if it was a top down thing or "infiltration" via the hiring system.

Do they any common denominator other than country of origin?

The activities of organized Political Christianity have interested me since the days of Jim and Tammy Baker.

Malcome Steinberg! It should be of interest that both Kissinger and his employees/partners and Scowcroft and his partners/employees maintain the highest clearance levels of any private persons/organization outside of the US government itself. And neither firm has ever disclosed their clients even to the US government which should be a precondition to their being employed or consulted.

Theodore Lewis,

If you have issues with 11B visa processes that is quite different than 'illegal' immigration in general though part of the overall immigration debate. If you need a referral to a lawyer for employment discrimination I can get you one.

I've seen similar complaints in academia, specifically Chinese graduate students, mostly in engineering phd programs. They bring their own (PRC provided) funding so why accept an American?

Theodore Lewis,
I was aware of the book you copy pasted about. Its thesis is that the Israel lobby's mirror image is the invisible Arab lobby. That's unpersuasive. One impression I got was that it is invisible (i.e. can't be seen) because off its lack of influence. Much unlike the pro-Israel lobby's very much observable and palpable influence. As I said, the Israeli lobby is quite extraordinary, and it's influence is unparalleled.

Here is a short version of Bard's thesis, in an article in Middle East Quarterly. IMO it's paranoid nonsense.

Since you apparently take what Bard has to tell at face value, I got an offer for you: There is this bridge in Brooklyn ...

Theodore Lewis,

Since you like to copy, try this from wikipedia:
author of 2010 book The Arab Lobby and a former editor of the "Near East Report", a weekly newsletter published by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, writes that "from the beginning, the Arab lobby has faced not only a disadvantage in electoral politics but also in organization."

Straight from the mouth of the babe, Bard, of the mythical Israeli lobby AIPAC.

oops, the wiki quote should begin, "Mitchell Bard, author..."

@Fred "I've seen similar complaints in academia, specifically Chinese graduate students, mostly in engineering phd programs. They bring their own (PRC provided) funding so why accept an American?"

These admissions have nothing to do with intelligence, preparedness, or high levels of performance (the fitness gap). Funding is the purest criterion because it is unbiased by ethnic stereotyping - or elitism.
