Well, I new that already, but it still makes me mad as heck. I'm tired of our politicans being controlled by a tail wagging in the Middle East.

Now I know, them wiley Joooos is everywhere, and we need to keep a close eye on them.

But correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there other issues also?

Like the WACKO NORKS taking artilary shots at S Korea. While they polish their nice little NUKES that Clinton and Bush let them build."While we pursued the DIPLOMATIC SOLUTION!

Maybe not as sexy as banging on the Jooos. But as I recall from Vietnam.

You screw with the S Koreans and all hell is going to break loose soooner or later.

Have we lost all honor in this Country? How can the FBI look itself in the mirror and take credit for taking out a Russian "Forrest Gump" spy operations, while allowing the Israeli's to get away with this?

FBI Counterintelligence my .........!

Unfortunately, we as Americans are quite likely to end up with the government that we deserve.

I could go on at length, but that is a rant that I (and others) have provided already...all I will say here is that I really hope that the citizens of the United States remember what that really means, before it is too late.

J

Colonel,

So to reiterate the title/question -- "...WHY IS THE FBI LOOKING THE OTHER WAY?" Some will see the Answer as -- "careers are worth more than our nation's security"? We know that to be true throughout the DOJ prosecutor ranks, is it the same through the Bureau's ranks? My old FBI bud Herb would be rolling in his grave if he could see his Bureau today.

J

Colonel,

I have to broach a subject that many appear to run from -- it is time that the use of deadly force was used against Israeli hostile assets operating on U.S. soil?

Since DOJ won't do it, and the FBI appears to look the other way, will others who have the necessary skill sets have to take the ball by the laces and run with it?

euclidcreek

Perhaps the situation is worse than people know: why did the United States and Great Britain give up centuries of hard won liberties in exchange for a Soviet style police state, complete with thought crimes, secret police and torture? When politicians clap like trained seals upon Zions command, why would slaves act as other than cattle?

Your comments about Matthews are spot on, but I'd like to expand upon his bullying.

Matthews mostly bullies those without real DC political juice, like a state politician or a journalist not on the "A" List. One example would be Bishop Tobin of Rhode Island. Tobin stated that he would not administer the Sacrament of the Eucharist to Rep. Patrick Kennedy due to Kennedy's support of abortion.

Tobin appeared on Hardball and Matthews ripped Tobin a new one. I'm sure the Kennnedys loved the show and since Tobin has zero clout in DC, Matthews faced no repercussions and was probably congratulated by the swell crowd in the Imperial City at various dinner parties.

If Matthews crossed the line with AIPAC, he would feel heat in DC and would probably be excluded from all fashionable society.

Just for the record, some of the worst dictators and authoritarian governments of nation-states in the past and in the present have powerful and well funded lobbyists working for them full time in DC. That is in fact what led to the Foreign Agents Registration Act but of course it has been lobbied to be ineffective in administration and enforcement. Note how there is no really public trail of how even the most grievous public complaint [and the public can only complain and cannot act as private attorney general] is processed through the Department of Justice. I vaguely remember looking long ago at the so-called US Attorney manual and its delegations to the US Attorney's Offices of authority and remember nothing on FARA. This if still the case means that MAIN JUSTICE Criminal Division would get all referrals from the FBI which has its own inability to investigate or self-initiate FARA cases for several reasons. Well the beat goes on but FARA is the correct starting point, and no registered agent or agency should ever be a federal tax exempt organization, if in fact that is what AIPAC is under current law.

To All here at SST.

I would like take a moment to wish everyone my best during this Thanksgiving Holidays. Let's all remember those less fortunate than we are.

I think we place too much emphasis on this country's ability to influence Israel. The Israelis will continue to screw up on their own until they go thru a South Africa type transformation.

There is a rough parallel in relationships between USA-Israel and the PRC-North Korea. Both are uncontrollable client states.

Farmer Don

Col. Lang & U.S. readers,

If you feel you have new facts that show this group is spying on your country, why not make it personal?
Why not get together with like minded people, and in groups of twos or alone contact the FBI and tell them you would like to have a meeting to give them information about group of people who are spying on your country.
Have this done over a day or two where ever someone is willing to contact the FBI and tell this story.
Get an official statement filed at their office.
See what happens.

If you think this is a stupid/naive idea, fine. If so, please explain why.

Sincerely,
Farmer Don (from Canada)

Society has - one can think in analogy to a human body - a complex structure, an anatomy, and the mass media is the nervous system of the society. Who controls media controls the society. It is that simple and this is why there is so much money devoted to the control of media. Does enyone know how much more money is spent on media control than on the politicians?

Jake

Farmer Don,

"If you think this is a stupid/naive idea, fine. If so, please explain why."

Let me take a shot at this. There are Bureau Agents who would love to tackle this issue. But it would be the death blow to them as far as their careers are concerned. There was one agent many years ago, who had the balls to drop an entire file on Ashcroft's lap after a memorial ceremony, on Israeli spying, when Ashcroft was the AG.

Well that Agent was transferred overseas faster than you can say ..eh!

Politics has in my opinion, has infected the FBI to a degree that Hoover buried bones are trying to dig him out of his coffin.

John Minnerath

Why?
Because they were told to.
This unconscionable BS has been going on for a long long time.
Who does own America?
We need some people in leadership, and need them bad, who have the cajones to tell Israel and her backers where to get off.
If it weren't for that bunch of megalomaniacs the situation in the ME wouldn't be what it is.

Usual attempt by Hasbara operative to deflect attention from the issue at hand and also cloth it in anti semitism.

First of all, A happy Thanksgiving to all.

Secondly, An AIPAC prosecution is not yet possible for the simple reason that I would expect that the Justice Department is "penetrated" from top to bottom.

That means that AIPAC will be aware of any FBI investigations from the very outset as well as the directions their investigation takes. They would thus be able to "manage" the process, leading to an eventual decision by Justice that there is "not enough evidence."

A "putsch type" approach of lightening raids is liable to result in Obamas impeachment were he to try it.

Fred

walrus,

What's even more troubling than FBI penetration is the Russian penetration of the Israeli government (given the 1 million plus immigrants from Russia in the recent past). How many tentacles might they thus have into AIPAC as a result?

Cal

Al Capone anyone?
From latest reports this lawsuit still going on.

Z Street alleges IRS playing politics
August 26, 2010

WASHINGTON (JTA) -- A pro-Israel activist group filed a lawsuit alleging that its application for U.S. tax-exempt status is being unduly scrutinized.

Z Street, a right-wing group intended to counterbalance left-wing J Street, said in its lawsuit that the U.S. Internal Revenue Service delayed and may deny their application for tax-exempt status because it was receiving further scrutiny over whether the organization would oppose the Obama administration's policy on Israel. Z Street filed the complaint Wednesday in Pennsylvania against the commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service. Experts in nonprofit law told the Forward that the allegations are unlikely to be true.

The complaint alleges that IRS agent Diane Gentry said applications from organizations dealing with Israel-related issues “are being sent to a special unit in the D.C. office to determine whether the organization’s activities contradict the administration’s public policies."

Laura Rozen noted in her blog at Politico that the IRS may have been trying to determine whether or not Z Street was an educational organization, which is a requirement for tax exemption.

“Furthermore Agent Gentry advised Z Street’s counsel that she questioned whether Z Street's activities were educational as described under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code, but instead might be lobbying, or that Z Street might be an 'action organization,' which is the case when the only way to accomplish the purpose of the organization is through legislation,” the lawsuit stated.

According to the Forward, applications for tax-exempt status are sent to the IRS’s quality assurance office in Washington if they involve terrorist countries or if the IRS receives a petition from a third party to deny the applicant tax-exempt status. Z Street’s petition could have been sent to Washington for either of those reasons.

I can't help wonder how much someone has traveled to write something like: "I think it is correct to assume the american system as the closest humanity will ever come to a legal system optimally able to protect the liberty of the citizen."

The States? The highest incarceration rate in the world.

I believe in unions in general and law enforcement unions in particular. In any law enforcement organization there are a small percentage that will do the right thing in all cases, regardless of the repercussions. There is a larger group that will do the right thing if their backsides are covered. Society is best served by law enforcement personnel that can defend themselves from political influence within their own organization. Does this mean that there will be good-for-nothings that manipulate the system? Of course. That is the price we pay for the wider benefits to be gained.

Netanyahu dared proposing establishing diplomatic ties between Cuba and Israel. Unacceptable:

US House Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen helped shut down a recent diplomatic opening between Israel and Cuba, according to Politico.

Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), the incoming chairwoman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, let Israel know she was displeased with the possible rapprochement, Politico reported. The congresswoman is a Cuban exile and violently opposed to Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

So apparently Israel can be reigned in, for instance by the Cuba lobby.

Stanley Henning

let's cut the crap right now. Our country is America, not Israel, and if we can't break loose from this behind the scenes program then we will no longer exist as America, and if that is the case then "goodbye" to all we have known to date and, simply put, forget it! I personally have no great respect for the Chinese gang in charge, but, if we are going to represent a meaningless Israeli crowd, then I might as well join the Chinese gang.

Let's think this thing over and break loose from the AIPAC front or forget it - we will not have a country to call our own!
