Gen. McChrystal: “Many describe the conflict in Afghanistan as a war of ideas, which I believe to be true.”
How about defending a native country from the superiorly-armed invaders? This is surely a naïve commentary. But when will the grown men (in a position of influence) find enough courage to name the disastrous war in Afghanistan by its real name - the war of aggression?
