"In the old days, journalists were bought off to ignore them. They now do it willingly and reflexively, knowing the consequences otherwise, the Israeli Lobby's power to remove unfriendly voices - from Congress, academia and the media.
Demanded is that Israel be portrayed as peaceful, never aggressive, surrounded, beleaguered, and victimized, acting solely in self-defense. In contrast, Palestinians are called militant terrorist threats to Israeli security, its propaganda machine relentless in pounding that message, the Senate's investigation failing to expose and halt it.
As a result, it's more virulent and pervasive than ever, what no congressional committee will touch, what no major media report will reveal. Israel's power in America suppresses everything unfavorable, willing fourth estate stooges going along, or else."
I would welcome the opportunity to include more of Mr. Lendman's writings on SST. pl

The successful AIPAC refusal to register under FARA is a national disgrace. It is symptomatic of the degree to which the agitprop efforts of the Zionists have conquered the information world in the United States. And then, there are other elements in the AIPAC empire; BENS, JINSA, AEI, WINEP, etc. Should they not also be registered? Holder sues Arizona, but walks away from obvious Israeli interference in US internal affairs. pl

Colonel,
IMO, DOJ needs to change its name from Department of Justice to Department of Castrated Eunuchs as far as their willingness to confront a hostile-to-the-U.S. Israeli Espionage/Propaganda Machine. It appears that Israel has a pair of Burdizzos clamped on Holder's nutz in the event Holder decides to grow some.

The Coen brothers in their movie, A Serious Man, reduced the tribal, ethnocentric mind to its diamond clear core.
Larry Gopnik: "What about the goy?"
Rabbi: "Who cares about the goy?"

I wrote the BBC once to point out that printing the phrase "although Israel disputes this" immediately after the phrase "such building is illegal under international law" was akin to finishing up a rape story with "although the rapist disputes this." - not the rape, but that rape is illegal.
They actually took it off the World News website for 2 days before it reappeared.
The whole global wurlitzer is impervious to rational or democratic input, and will remain so long after the home office itself succumbs to the anger, revulsion and demographics confronting it.

If it is inappropriate for our own government agencies to PSYOP the american people then how can we possibly sanely stand by while organizations operating to the benefit of a foreign government are allowed to PSYOP us. This is gross beyond description. As a former US Army PSYOP officer, I consider this to be unjustifiable, inexcusable treachery and must not be allowed to continue. If we desire our country to survive as "the land of the free" beyond the the first half of the 21st Century we had better wake up fast and get our house in order. This is a reflection of a nation sorely lacking true leadership (both Democrats and Republicans, civilians and military) that has lost its way.

When the News Hour, which I watch regularly, announces an interviewie from AEI, I turn the program off.
I still think that it should be illegal to hold dual citizenship with another country, particularly Israel.

Dear lee B:
I learned in my high school civics class (more than 30 years ago, now) that you could only hold dual citizenship as a minor. Once you turned 18 you had to declare for one country or the other. So, what happened to that rule? Ws it repealed? Were exaceptions made to it made?

It's not what the American government thinks. It's what the other country awards.
Children of Greek migrants to Australia have gone back to Greece to visit relatives, and been immediately conscripted into the Greek Army because Greece still viewed them as Greek citizens liable for military service. It did not matter that they had grown up in Australia and were traveling on Australian passports. This happened more than once, probably to Americans too.
