Testing
I had the same problem with another blog and was successful when I left the URL window blank

They might have updated something, which then broke something else.

The problem started late Wednesday or yesterday because it was OK before. I noticed last night it didn't have the field for the URL until you tried to post.
Yup, they fixed and broke something at the same time.

From my experience with them do not expect the typepad helpdesk to fix the problem.
The will
1. deny it is a problem
2. explain it is a new "feature"
3. roll back the new "feature" after two weeks of constant customer complain.

I noticed when I posted earlier it didn't show my remark. It just kind of went somewhere but you found it.
You might ask them, if it wants the URL so darn bad, why won't it leave it coded in the URL field like the email address?
