This was a film in which I managed to develop some passing interest because it is set in the Santa Ynez Valley region of central California. My parents lived there in retirement, and Buellton, "Anderson's Pea Soup Restaurant," Casmalia, "The Hitching Post," (world's greatest cowby hang-out/with steaks) Solvang, etc., are all very familiar to me.
There is also a lot of "doodaa" about relationships, angst, etc., but Alan gets into that with his usual "'90s guy" sensitivity.
