That is a too, too thinly disguised roman à clé about a Manx immunologist who will remain nameless.
If not, he may want to append that standard disclaimer about resemblances to actual people living or dead being coincidental.

It may be one of those occupational syndromes.
Perhaps that is why Tolstoy said: "Unhappy academics are all alike, every happy academic is happy in his/her own way."
